Prestwick Burns Club

The 2011-12 season is kicking off on 4th October and meetings will be held monthly from now through to April 2012 the climax with the two meetings in April. The Very Important AGM is to be on Tuesday 17th April 2012.

The Prestwick Burns Club Presidency for 2011-12 is in the hands of Cronie Jim Bruce who had worked hard for the club for many years and was President quite some years ago. As for some years now secretary is Jimmy Coutts, Treasurer, Cronie Ian Moffat, and elected as Vice President for a second stint is Cronie Billy MacIntyre.

The programme for session this new season is now in full swing and meetings will be held as before in the premises of the RAFA Club on Ardayre Road on the first Tuesday of each month at 7.30 pm.

The monthly meetings continue up until April and there will be a St Andrew's function on Friday 2nd December while the Annual Burns Supper is scheduled for Friday 27th January 2012, Additionally there will be a summer club outing in early June.

Visitors are made welcome to regular meetings of the club And quite soon to St Andrews Night dinner dance on Friday 2/12/11 Meanwhile gentlemen wishing to find out about the club or for details of meetings are asked to telephone our secretary on 01292 470352.
