Airport team all set for Kazakhstan driving adventure
16 JulyAn intrepid trio of drivers from Prestwick Airport will set out across Europe on an epic trek for local charities, as they take part in their own 'Cannonball Run'.
Andrew Coogans, Ellis McNaughton and Iain Downie will be amongst twenty teams driving old bangers to Kazakhstan on a 15 day journey across time zones and border controls, all to raise money for local charities.
The aim is to buy a car for as close to £100 as possible - the Prestwick team have a 1998 Nissan Serena people carrier - and drive it from the UK to Almaty in Kazakhstan.
