Prestwick driver has 'nose-blowing' fine case dropped

A Prestwick businessman who was stopped by police for blowing his nose while driving has had the case against him dropped.

Michael Mancini was given a fixed penalty notice after using a handkerchief while his van was stationary in traffic in Ayr. The 39-year-old refused to pay the £60 fine and the case had been expected to be heard by a court. But prosecutors said no further action would be taken.
