Prestwick man killed in Isle of Man TT crash

A Prestwick man has been killed while competing in the Junior TT Grand Prix motorcycling event on the Isle of Man.

James Adam (28), an officer in the Royal Navy, was killed after a crash on the Alpine Cottage section of the course. He was treated by airborne medical crews, but was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been informed.
