Sharp fall in passenger numbers from Prestwick Airport
2 Mar 2010Infratil, the New Zealand firm that owns Prestwick, said 103,188 passengers used the airport, down 22% on January 2009.
In the 10 months to 31st January, a total of 1,488,638 passengers flew in or out of Prestwick, down 26% on the same period in the preceding year. Operations in the month were affected by disruption to flights resulting from bad weather.
