Still time to make a splash at Prestwick's Boxing Day charity dip

There’s still time to sign up to take the plunge and join in the ‘Dip with a Nip' on Boxing Day in Prestwick – so join the fun on the beach and dive into the water in a great cause!
This great Prestwick event, which kicks off at 2pm is FREE to join and orgainsers ask is that you try and raise as much as you can for the CLIC Sargent charity, supporting children with cancer.
On the day participants are given hot soup, t shirt, a goody bag from Tesco, and a with miniature of whisky from Grants of Girvan for adults and a selection box for children (who must be accompanied by an appropriate adult at all times).
Organiser May Gilchrist reports that hundreds have already signed up for this year’s event, , and she's hoping that more than 300 will take part on the day.

May is also looking for volunteers on the day to help out with either setting up the event, bucket rattling, registration, marshalling and other duties - if you can spare an hour or two I would love to hear from you if you are not already taking part.
