Take the plunge for charity in Prestwick's Boxing Day dip

Will you dare to take the plunge in Prestwick, and help to raise money for a great cause in one of the town’s biggest fundraising events of the year?

Prestwick Boxing Day Dip is in its 6th year this year and hopes to be the best one yet! Last year 400 people took part in the dip in the firth of Clyde and already 150 dippers are registered for this year with loads of registration forms landing in the mailboxes each day.

The Dip takes place at 2pm on Boxing Day but as usual there will be the fantastic parade down Links Road to guide all the dippers down to the shore. There is no registration fee to take part but we do ask that everyone tries their best to raise a minimum of £100 each for CLIC Sargent. Fancy dress is encouraged and there is a fantastic prize for the best fancy dress costume

Each dipper will get a goody bag and for those not in fancy dress you will receive a CLIC Sargent t-shirt
